Description

The Steel is a slim 1200mm bar that hangs level over a table or worktop and lights it evenly along its whole length. It is bi-emission: a crisp line of light points down onto the surface while a softer wash lifts off the ceiling above, and the upward light switches on or off on its own, so you can go from a bright working scene to a calmer glow. The integrated LEDs give 4150 lumens of warm 3000K light with a colour rendering above 90, so food, paper and materials read true underneath it.

Unlit, it reads as a fine matt-black line with almost no bulk, receding against a dark ceiling and drawing a quiet horizontal against a pale one. The extruded aluminium body is only 60mm deep and drops on thin cables that you shorten at installation to sit where you want above the surface.
