What Is a Rattan Chandelier?

A rattan chandelier is a ceiling-mounted light fixture constructed from woven rattan — a flexible, sustainable palm material prized for its organic texture. Rattan chandeliers add warmth and artisanal character to modern, farmhouse, and coastal interiors while diffusing light through natural fiber.

What You Get With the Currey & Co Phebe Chandelier

1. Bleached Natural Rattan Shade — handwoven wicker in a bleached finish creates visual lightness and filters light for a soft glow.
2. Vanilla Wrought Iron Hardware — the metal frame in vanilla complements the natural rattan and reduces visual weight.
3. Four-Light Configuration — E12 candelabra sockets provide ample illumination for dining tables or foyers.
4. Extensive Height Adjustability — adjustable from 26 to 93.5 inches to suit standard ceilings or two-story entryways.
5. Direct Ceiling Mount — mounts directly to the ceiling with a 13-foot clear silver cord for clean installation.

Where Does a Bleached Rattan Chandelier Work Best?

Pair the Phebe over a dining table in a coastal or modern farmhouse space, or anchor a two-story foyer with its adjustable height. The bleached finish complements neutral palettes and layers well with other lighting fixtures and pendant lighting in open-plan kitchens.
