Cultivation
Plant bulb in a pot large enought to allow a minimum of 3-4 cm of soil around the bulb. The nose of the bulb protruding from the top of the pot. Approximately a 1/3rd of the bulb should be above the soil surface. Overwatering will cause stem rot and red rust.

Soil Position
Prefers a full sun or partial shade position in a well drained organically rich soil. Protection from the wind is recommended.
